Doll. A term of endearment.

This gal came my way over the course of the weekend. We had a BLAST together at the ROSSNAREE SUMMER FAIR.

She surfed a turtle over the lawn and landed in my lap. There was Paradise Cake everywhere!

We are most honored to have the work of  New York City decorative artist, John Derian, available for retail here at the Brown Hound.  Derian along with a small atelier of artists, utilizes color reprints of 18th- and 19th-century images from his vast personal archive and pieces them together under glass, often in combination with reproductions of antique calligraphy. The result is a growing product line including plates, vases, trays, paperweights, cachepots, wall hangings and desk accessories. These handmade decorative items are showcased at Mr. Derian’s quirkily atmospheric retail shops in New York City & now here, exclusively at Brown Hound. 

parmesan & chive biscuits. yes, ‘biscuits’.  a scone to me and you, except not…….. i have never had a scone like this and i doubt you have either.  gently warmed, drizzled with a beautiful olive oil and enjoyed with a glass of wine. PERFECT.
